Einfach toll.Die Betten sind so erholsam und die Decken sind sehr angenehm. Man kommt schnell in die Stadt mit Bus oder Bahn. In Köln trifft man die ganze Welt. Es ist sehr eindrucksvoll.Der Dom hat natürlich voll den Wau Effekt. Echt zu empfehlen ist das Cafe Reinhard.Und eine Fahrt am Neckar. Also viel Spaß

Insgesamt war mein Aufenthalt für zwei Nächte völlig ok. Köln ist ein teures Pflaster, auch in Kalk, aber was kann das Hotel für das Umfeld? Das Zimmer war klein, aber sehr nett eingerichtet und sauber. Im Bad war vielleicht nicht alles perfekt, aber das war okay. Die angetroffenen Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett, ich wollte aber auch nicht mehr als ein- und auschecken. Gefrühstückt habe ich nicht, der Kaffeeautomat im Flur eine gute Idee, leider fehlte mir das Kleingeld. Mein Zimmer ging nach hinten raus, direkt vor der Terrassentür eine Feuertreppe, aber ich habe mich trotzdem sicher gefühlt. Etwas Lautstärke von oben an einem Abend gab sich im Rahmen der normalen Ruhezeiten (ca.22.30h). Wer mit dem Umfeld ein Problem hat, dem sei der Wikipedia-Artikel über Köln-Kalk ans Herz gelegt - es ist halt multikulti und man kann sich ja vorher informieren, wo man landet. Auch für mich war es ungewohnt, aber gleichermaßen interessant und man kann sehr wohl - auch abends, auch als Frau - alleine noch rausgehen!

I picked this place mainly for its proximity to the station. I had a non-aircon room so I had to keep my windows opened for ventilation. Not a big issue except that there were lots of homeless people on the streets that kept shouting way into the night. The room's quite comfortable otherwise.

I have never been put into a hotel room so small before. No chair, table or desk. No wardrobe, drawers or place to put your clothes. No bedside light. Impossible to sit normally on the toilet. Shower door had to be opened so you could access the sink. Curtains did not fit the windows. Only one pillow and no extra ones in the whole hotel. Woken at 5.20am by trains going through the station, which is at least 150m away. Room was clean though. Breakfast was very limited for the price charged. Checked out after one night. Recreation not empowered to refund extra two nights or the City Tax for those nights. Avoid. There are plenty of affordable hotels in Cologne to choose instead of this one.

Au niveau de la chambre ça va par contre grand défaut pas de climatisation une chaleur à mourir dans les chambres et les gens vont dans la rue et parlent jusqu'à 2h du matin franchement pas top les responsables de l'hôtel devrait dire à la clientèle de ne pas parler devant l'hôtel

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war gut. Kleiner Tipp, vlt das Wurst sortiment ab und an mal wechseln. Die Pancake Maschine konnten wir leider nur einmal testen. Lage war auch gut. Man darf nur nicht Geraüsche empfindlich sein. Probleme wurden , was möglich war , sofort in Ordnung gebracht. Danke dafür. Achja der Popcorn Automat ist auch cool.

The hostel claimed to have a parking, but when we arrived the man said that it wasn't possible to use it. Since we have a car prone to theft, we had to go somewhere else. The neighbourhood was really shady with addicts and drunk people.
