Terrible Experience – Would Strongly Advise Against Holmes Place. I would put zero stars if I could.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Holmes place. I signed up for a monthly subscription at €149,90 despite not living in Germany all year, in total I have paid to them € 349 (Price for 2 months including suscription). Has most of what you need. Peak time seem to vary and when it’s busy it’s difficult to get a proper workout in and have access to what you need. Lockers and showers are great, clean as is the gym. Staff has always been friendly. It seems the AC is faulty as it’s always warm and humid.

Ich werde meine Mitgliedschaft nicht mehr verlängern.
Mittlerweile leider aus einer Vielzahl von Gründen wie:
- Geräte sind oft langfristig beschädigt und außer Betrieb.
- Serviceleistungen wie der Handtuchservice werden eingestellt.
- Undurchsichtige Beitragsabbuchungen die auch gerne mal um 110€ monatlich variieren können.
- Überlaufenes Studio, Kurse und Schwimmhalle (vor allem durch laute Aqua-Aerobic-Kurse)
- Dauerbaustellen

Für sportliches Schwimmen ist das Schwimmbecken zu empfehlen. Allerdings war es am Montagabend schon ziemlich voll im Holmes Place.

Das Holmes Place am Ostkreuz ist inzwischen total überlaufen. Die Kurse sind immer noch gut, aber in den Stoßzeiten stehen Frauen zum benutzen der Toilette Schlange. Die Reinigungsstunden werden trotz Erhöhung der Besucherzahlen nicht erhöht trotz Anfragen der Mitarbeiter (Aussage eines MA dort). Das Fitness Studio verkommt und verdreckt immer mehr. Ich finde für 90 Euro im Monat sollte man mehr für sein Geld bekommen.

Was my first visit. Lynn at the front desk was very friendly and got me set up in no time. Well maintained Gym while it was busy there were plenty of equipments and hardly had to wait. One star taken away for the card locker situation, would prefer using my own lock if it meant I don't have to carry around a card with me all time :)

Twice now before the gym closed a man walked into the women's locker room to announce closing in lieu of simply standing outside it and saying as much and startled several unclothed women. Find this super unprofessional and the staff was completely unapologetic and entitled about this behavior when confronted, instead of apologizing and acknowledging that they barged in several minutes before closing, simply because they felt entitled to do so.
