Meine Studienzeit ist nun vorbei und ich wollte mich herzlich bei den House Manager Hannah, Helga und Daniel bedanken für die tolle Unterstützung. Wir haben damals viel Spaß gehabt! Mit der Zeit sind die Apartments teurer geworden, was mich persönlich abgeschreckt hat, aber vom Haus selbst war die Planung und der Service super.

I would strongly advise any potential tenant to think carefully before signing a contract with this establishment. The entire setup seems designed to extract as much money as possible from tenants. Studios are priced at double the cost of a large studio in Aachen, making them unreasonably expensive for what is offered. When you move in, the apartment is completely unfurnished—no sheets, pillows, kettle, cutlery, or blankets—forcing tenants to spend their first few days purchasing basic necessities. Predictably, the management offers a “starter package” with these basic items at an exorbitant price. Despite being a relatively new building, it is poorly designed. The corridors constantly smell of food due to the absence of windows for ventilation. The studios are equipped with internal curtains instead of external shutters, causing the interiors to become unbearably hot during sunny summer days. The common areas are located in the basement, with minimal natural light. To access them, tenants must navigate a dimly lit corridor and unlock a fire door with a key—an arrangement that discourages social interaction. The rental contracts are extremely unfavorable. It is nearly impossible to terminate the lease early, and even if you find a replacement tenant, the process is so complex and burdensome that most give up before completing it. Additionally, the security deposit is refunded only three months after vacating, even if the apartment is left in perfect condition. The only positive aspects I found of this establishment are its central location and the availability of indoor bike parking.
