I'm super happy with the purchase. It has been a fantastic experience so far, although the keyboard feels a bit cheap, especially when compared to thinkpads, however I think that's a bit of an unfair comparison. It's just so delightful that everything just works --- even after putting arch linux on it. The setup experience with tuxedo OS was so smooth that I think even my least tech-savvy relatives would have no issue with it. Retracting one star (can't retract half a star) for the keyboard and the choice of UPS as shipping provider. I'd gladly pay extra for *any other* provider, since UPS is utterly unprofessional in my area.

Terrible purchase support: "We are helpless and cannot do anything" I have been a Linux enthusiast since the early days of Slackware; the products this company offer are alluring; I like the idea of hardware built from scratch for Linux (vs built for W$ndows but compatible with Linux) but multiple attempts to purchase a single higher end notebook via Amazon pay have failed, paypal is not an option and I will not prepay for an international transaction. Tuxedo is no help in making this transaction complete. Reply to response from the owner: I did mention ALL 3 (count them 3! ways to pay!) methods that Tuxedo can take payment for this international transaction; ALL 3 have a blocking issue. And to your point, I disagree: This IS the appropriate venue to discuss the shortcomings of Tuxedo Computers. When I have invested a week trying to make an order go thru and have not succeeded for whatever reason, Tuxedo deserves a negative review.
