Top Adresse!!! War mit einem Brandloch an der Vorderkante meines Motorradsitzes dort. Andere hätten gleich neu bezogen, MC hat ihn repariert und eine super Lösung gefunden. So muss Handwerk sein, vielen lieben Dank für die schnelle und unkomplizierte Lösung und Fertigstellung.

Hochmut kommt vor dem Fall, auf eine freundliche Anfrage vom 13.05.2019 - es ging dabei um einige Ausbesserungsarbeiten an meinem Oldtimer - folgte eine Woche Wartezeit. Nach erneuter Nachfrage per WhatsApp am 22.05.2019, was denn nun mit dem Angebot für die Ausbesserungsarbeiten sei, erhielt ich die Antwort: "Bin gerade dabei er schickt mir die Muster …". Jetzt ist bereits der 12.08.2019 und die Muster scheinen immer noch einzutreffen :-))) Ganz offensichtlich scheint die Auftragslage dem Besitzer diese Umgangsweise mit seinen Kunden zu erlauben … und das, obwohl ich unmissverständlich signalisiert hatte, dass der Preis für die anstehenden Arbeiten keine (!) Rolle spielt. Anstatt nun in die Gänge zu kommen, wurde versucht, mir bei einigen zufälligen Begegnungen zu suggerieren, welch ach so edle Kundschaft seine Werkstatt aufsucht und vor allem dass die von ihm abgelieferte Arbeit ach sooo professionell und qualitativ einzigartig sei. Mag ja sein … Anstatt sich mit solch niveaulosem Gefasel zu brüsten, wäre es im Interesse aller gewesen, wenn er sich der Sache angenommen hätte. Ich denke 3 Monate Wartezeit sollten genug sein und beweisen meinerseits viel Geduld. Dennoch wünsche ich dem edlen Handwerker alles Gute!!! PS: Nachdem es keine "0" Sterne zu vergeben gibt, bin ich widerwillig gezwungen in diesem Fall die Bewertung mit "1" Stern zu versehen. Danke MC Autosattlerei … Top Leistung … weiter so

Bedauerlicherweise muss diese negative Bewertung abgegeben werden, da trotz diverser Fristsetzungen seit Jahren keine Nachbesserungen erfolgen. Es wurde bei der Fa. Stix eine RC3-Haustüre (höherer Einbruchschutz) bestellt und bezahlt, jedoch nach einer Begehung durch die Kriminalpolizei festgestellt, dass es sich lediglich um eine RC2-Haustüre handelt (niedrigerer Einbruchschutz). Dies wird von der Fa. Stix permanent ignoriert, genauso wie einige weitere Nachbesserungen, die den Einbau neuer Rollläden und Rollladenmotoren (ein Rollladen lässt sich seit Jahren kurz nach dem Einbau nicht schließen) betreffen. Des Weiteren wurde eine Hauseingangstüre zu tief eingesetzt, so dass selbst durch den eigens angereisten Werkskundendienst der Fa. Kompotherm die Türe nur notdürftig auf das Mindestmaß nachjustiert werden konnte. Es ist nur möglich, einen ganz dünnen Schmutzfänger auszulegen. Ich habe Verständnis für die durch Corona bedingten Verzögerungen und Mitteilungen der Fa. Stix, dass sie zu wenig Mitarbeiter haben, nicht jedoch, wenn ich seit Jahren auf eine Erledigung warte und alle Fristsetzungen permanent ignoriert werden. Zudem wurden im ganzen Haus neue Fenster der Fa. Kneer-Süd eingebaut. Trotz diverser Nachbesserungen sind immer noch nicht alle Mängel behoben. Bei Kneer-Süd genauso wie bei dem Hersteller der Haustüren, der Fa. Kompotherm wird nur lapidar auf die Fa. Stix verwiesen, welche die Restarbeiten auszuführen hätte. Summa summarum kann ich die Fa. Stix nicht weiterempfehlen.

TLDR: From Ordering to having used for eveything I can think of for a week; this has been the best laptop I have ever had, and I have had some pretty high end ones. For those who are interested, here's my experience: I had decided that windows had gone too far, and copilot was out of control... so I turned to my old friend, linux. After running a few different distros (I needed to catch up with the last 20 years of progress) I found that there really was no reason for me to go back to windows. I started looking at dedicated systems and having considered system 76, Tuxedo, and a few others, I settled on Tuxedo due partly to their dedication to progressing the project (linux in general) and partially to what they do in the greater community, but mostly, they had the best performance for the buck that I have ever seen in their software and system integration. I installed the Tuxedo OS on an MSI summit and got to know the KDE plasma environment that they have expanded to suite their systems, and I loved it for a month before I decided to take the leap and order a laptop. I found that they had announced the new TUXEDO InfinityBook Pro 14 - Gen10 and offered it with the (soon to be available) AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, and the total price was on par with what I usually expect to spend on a laptop... so I obviously had to place the order immediately. I also opted for the 128G ram and the 4 TB Samsung 990 PRO for storage. I paid some dollar bucks and waited... impatiently. lol It's been a week now and I have thoroughly put this new laptop through the paces, attempting to push it a bit and finding it doesn't easily break a sweat. The case build quality is great, on par with or slightly nicer than my MSI summit or a macbook pro. but with so much more inside. The hardware in this laptop stomps on what my other laptops have, yet it's just as portable and the battery life is more than I'm used to. When they say it's ready to go out of the box, they're not joking. I had this going 4 minutes after cutting the tape on the box, and about 20 minutes later I had my network protocols and security done, everything I use for business installed and running, and I was off to the races. So, my final thoughts are that I don't think I could be happier with my purchase. I am already recommending Tuxedo Computers to all my friends and collegues, and as far as I can see, I'm a Tuxedo customer for life. Tux, thank you for building something (hardware and your OS) that has me actually enjoying my computer again. I had forgotten that I actually really like computers, I was stuck in the mundane world of microsoft where I was just a slave to the system and dreading turning on my computer for "work". Now I turn my computer on and feel like I can breathe again. My computer is powerful, my distro is clean, swift, and reliable, and I am free.

Terrible purchase support: "We are helpless and cannot do anything" I have been a Linux enthusiast since the early days of Slackware; the products this company offer are alluring; I like the idea of hardware built from scratch for Linux (vs built for W$ndows but compatible with Linux) but multiple attempts to purchase a single higher end notebook via Amazon pay have failed, paypal is not an option and I will not prepay for an international transaction. Tuxedo is no help in making this transaction complete. Reply to response from the owner: I did mention ALL 3 (count them 3! ways to pay!) methods that Tuxedo can take payment for this international transaction; ALL 3 have a blocking issue. And to your point, I disagree: This IS the appropriate venue to discuss the shortcomings of Tuxedo Computers. When I have invested a week trying to make an order go thru and have not succeeded for whatever reason, Tuxedo deserves a negative review.
