My experience with Auto Park Bocholt was disappointing, and I believe it’s important to share the details to help others make informed decisions. I was interested in purchasing a BMW X3 M40d from this dealership. I started discussions with their team and received additional photo and video materials, showing a few visible issues like a cracked windshield and a scratch on the rear right fender. I specifically asked if there were any other important issues I should be aware of, and they told me no. This gave me the impression that they were being honest and transparent, which convinced me to pay a €1,000 deposit and book a flight, planning to drive the car back to Romania. However, once I arrived, I discovered several serious issues that had not been disclosed: the braking system (discs and pads) was completely worn out, and there were problems with the transmission. Considering the long journey back to Bucharest (approximately 2,100 kilometers), these were critical pieces of information that should have been communicated from the start. They offered to fix the issues, but only at an extra cost—which would also mean additional costs for accommodation and delays. When I asked whether the transmission fluids had ever been changed, they replied that it was a “lifetime fluid,” which is technically incorrect. I requested a full refund of my deposit, as I decided not to buy the car solely due to these undisclosed problems—not because I simply changed my mind for no reason. However, they only refunded €300. I feel this behavior was unfair and unprofessional. I lost time, money, and trust in a dealership that chose to withhold important information in the hope of closing the sale.
