Zielgruppe: Touris und Geschäftsreisende Man zahlt viel zu viel für das was man kriegt. Es lohnt sich ein paar hundert Meter weiter zu gehen.
Food is really good but service could have been much better. First of all very slow. Secondly when the bill came in and I paid in cash, the waiter, witjout asking, kept a service charge 10% which was not on the bill. I was going to leave a tip anyway, but when I questioned it, the waiter said he could add it to the bill. Typical tourist place. They don’t care about service.
Nourriture très moyenne, surtout étant donné le prix (9€ pour 75cl d'eau). Le service a été beaucoup trop long (environ 45mins entre le moment où l'on s'est assis et lorsqu'on a été servi). Le cadre est néanmoins sympathique
Ich liebe die neue Altstadt, schöner als im Wirtshaus am Hühnermarkt kann man nicht sitzen. Das Personal ist auf zack und geht auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein. Die Weinkarte ist gut sortiert und die Speisen gut ausgewählt, so, dass für jeden was dabei ist. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch, bis bald.
Immer wieder gerne. Hier wird Gastlichkeit noch groß geschrieben. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist ausgewogen und die Qualität einfach spitze, das ganze wird durch einen aufmerksamen Service und dem tollen Ambiente abgerundet. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mahl😉
Ristorante in centro a Francoforte situato in una piazzetta super originale. Il locale è molto accogliente, servizio buono, cibo ottimo sia in qualità che porzione! Ovviamente si paga il prezzo giusto per quello che si mangia, non a buon mercato. Portata principale, birra ed un dolce diviso 2, compresa la mancia, poco più di 40€/cad.
Die Lage ist sehr gut, das Restaurant ist sauber und gepflegt. Der Service ist aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Der Apfelwein hat überraschend gut geschmeckt, nicht zu sauer. Was ich sehr schade finde sind die viel zu kleinen Portionen für den überteuerten Preis. Ich hatte gekochtes Rippchen mit Sauerkraut und Bratkartoffeln für glaube ich ca 24 €. Wiener Schnitzel was excellent. As was the cheesecake. The terrace was lovely to sit at in the sunny weather.

We visited this restaurant with a group of six friends after reading the many positive reviews. The place itself is cozy, nicely decorated, and the food was decent. However, we had some issues with the service. In Germany, tipping is optional, so we found it a bit strange that a service charge of €18.65 was automatically added to our bill of around €187 without asking or giving us the option. Tolles Wirtshaus mitten in Frankfurt – wir kommen wieder! Wir waren heute im Wirtshaus am Hühnermarkt und hatten einen richtig schönen Besuch. Die Stimmung war super – es gab sogar Handkäs mit Musik, dazu Currywurst mit Pommes und eine Bratwurst. Die Pommes waren hervorragend, außen knusprig und innen fluffig. The food was good, and the location right near the cathedral in the New Old Town was charming. However, this was the first time during our 20 day trip that a restaurant added a mandatory 10% tip. When we asked one server, he said it was a tip; another said it was a service charge. It left us unsure whether we were being misled. Hidden in a quiet and quaint little square, this traditional Inn was a great find. Service was friendly and the food was great. We spent a lazy Sunday afternoon having a long lunch, enjoying the local specialities. Especially loved the salads and the apple strudel. Beautiful both inside and outside in the sun.
