There are 3 types of restaurants: 1. restaurants you visit and decide never to return 2. restaurants you go and decide to return to in due time 3. restaurants you drive almost 300km (and 300km back) only to have the PERFECT meal. Szechuan restaurant Tang Wang is for me in this last category. In a neighborhood that looks like the Twilight Zone of Manga Madness, fluo-coloured chai-latte-soja-vegan icecreams and other other out-of-this-world synth…
So much oil, America was about to invade my plate. Never been so bloated after a couple bites. My Mapo tofu had no taste, barely any meat and the tofu was like water.. I have eaten at many authentic Asian restaurants and non of them were like this. Price to quality ratio is extremely off, food that tastes like this should be at least half price. The cold service also doesn’t help..

Great authentic Chinese food - i can definitely recommend this food. The portions are big so the price is definitely very good.
In einer früheren Bewertung hatte ich nur einen Stern wegen eines angeblichen Fehlers in der Abrechnung gegeben. Der Fehler hat sich inzwischen durch das positive, proaktive Intervenieren des Inhabers als Fehler auf meiner Seite erwiesen. Ich bitte um Entschuldigung und passe die Bewertung daher entsprechend an.
Excellent food! Would recommend to anyone. Great mapo tofu and some of the best xiaolongbao I've had outside of Shanghai. Good service as well.
