Das Essen ist fantastisch! Das Ambiente ebenfalls. Leider kommen wir nicht mehr, da der Kellner jedes Mal wenn wir da waren, unangenehm und übergriffig versucht mit allen Frauen zu flirten und rumzushakern. The waiter said it would rain and recommended us to sit inside, but inside there was only a free table for 4 people (and we were 5) and no extra chair could be added to the table. Endlich ein indisches Restaurant, in dem die Speisen vor aromatischen Gewürzen nur so strotzen: Kardamom, Fenchelsamen, Nelke, Zimt etc. schmeckt und findet man hier in Fülle. Nicht der pürierte Einheitsbrei wie in anderen Lokalen. Unser Liebling: Kerala Curry. Große Bitte: unbedingt Masala Dosa anbieten. :-)

Im a southi indian from kerala and this restaurant belongs to a keralite too....but man i wasnt expecting to see some real dishes from kerala with the same level of spiciness !!!! and the set up is lovely too....will recommed to anyone wanting to try out kerala prawns curry and dont mind the spicy smell on their cloths for the rest of the week
One of my favorite Indian Restaurant in Koln. Great service, ambiance, food, and drinks, with consistency every time I return. I also appreciate that the dishes at Masala Empire are quite authentic and some times innovative (specially the Business Lunch), which makes it an interesting, satisfying experience each time we come.
Dined at an Indian restaurant and was impressed with the quality of the food and service. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were very attentive. The menu had a great selection of dishes, with the tandoori chicken and butter chicken being standout options. Overall, this is a great spot for a delicious and authentic Indian meal. Highly recommend!

Just remember they DON'T ACCEPT CARD PAYMENTS. This is difficult if you mostly do your purchases via card or contactless manner. Apart from that One of the best authentic Indian places to try out both North & South Indian cuisine. The appetizers were delicious as well. A highly recommended place if you are looking for genuine Indian cuisine in Cologne.

Impossible to pay high amounts in 2023 with card? Unbelievable! Prices are high and any decent restaurant accepts cards. On top of that the bathrooms are not clean. Last time at this place. There are many options around, so avoid this one!

Spontaner Besuch ohne Reservierung, sehr netter Service und das Essen wirklich lecker. Preise echt angemessen. Etwas schade, dass Kartenzahlung nicht möglich ist, aber trotzdem kein Grund hier von der Note was abzuziehen.
They don’t accept credit card payments… get with the times please. Otherwise food and service is great.
