While we fully understand and acknowledge your concerns, we would like to clarify the following: students who have previously held a Lingoda subscription or participated in a Language Sprint are informed at the time of registering that they are not eligible for the Cashback. This information is clearly displayed on the checkout page during the sign-up process. Specifically, the warning message reads:
"Warning, your student account is not eligible to win cash back. Our records show that this account has had an active Lingoda subscription which is not allowed per Rule 1.9 of the Sprint T&Cs."
This message is highlighted and prominently displayed to ensure visibility. A screenshot of this warning was also shared with you in our recent email and Live Chat correspondence.
Regarding Rule 1.9 of the Sprint Terms and Conditions, we would like to respectfully clarify that it is presented with the same prominence and formatting as all other rules, and is not hidden as suggested. The rule clearly states:
"The Language Sprint is only open to new customers who have never had an active subscription with Lingoda. This does not include the Free Trial as it is not an active subscription."

As previously explained in our email communication, your course follows a monthly subscription model. This was clearly outlined during registration, confirmed in your payment receipt, and has consistently been visible in your student account, including the date of the next billing cycle.
Currently, we do not offer a "pay-as-you-go" plan, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Our subscription packages are designed to give students flexibility in choosing the number of class credits they wish to use each month. To help avoid purchasing more than needed, a smaller plan—such as one with just five classes per month—is available.
The subscription renews every 28 days and can be canceled at any time before the next renewal. As with any recurring service, it is the user’s responsibility to manage or cancel the subscription in time.
Each monthly payment includes access to your student account for 28 days in addition to your class credits. If a subscription is canceled, the unused credits will remain in your account for up to one year from the purchase date, so they can be used later.
We encourage learners to actively manage their course schedules. We understand that busy periods can make regular attendance challenging, which is why we offer flexible options—such as pausing your subscription, canceling when necessary, or converting group class credits into private sessions.
A monetary refund of unused class credits is not possible, unless it is requested within 14 days after the initial contract conclusion. Our apologies if this was not clear in the Terms and Conditions you had agreed to when you signed up for your course.

Avoid it as much as you can, specially if you wish to do the sprint course. They have very tricky rules to confuse you so you don't get your 50% cash back. Teachers show up late and you never get that time back. Very difficult to follow the sequence of the lessons because there are not slots available on the class so you end up jumping from lesson 1 to lesson 7 to lesson 4 in the same week which makes learning confusing and messy. En caso de que no se puedan usar todos los créditos, estos se traspasan al próximo mes de suscripción y pueden ser utilizados junto con los nuevos créditos. Además, el estudiante tiene la posibilidad de cambiar a un curso menos intensivo para evitar acumular demasiados créditos nuevos. También es posible pausar la suscripción hasta 28 días si no hay tiempo para tomar clases. En cualquier momento, se puede cancelar la suscripción y volver a acceder a la cuenta, y los créditos no utilizados podrán ser aprovechados en el futuro al reactivar la cuenta con un nuevo curso cuando haya más tiempo disponible.
En casos especiales, podemos ofrecer la opción de posponer la fecha de pago como excepción, lo cual hemos hecho para ti en tres ocasiones, pero lamentablemente no podemos hacer esto de manera frecuente, ya que el acceso a la cuenta de estudiante depende de tener un curso activo.

The rule you are referring to, which limits students to taking no more than 5 classes per week during the Sprint option, is one of the basic rules. Although we would like to grant exceptions more often, it is not possible in order to maintain fairness for those participants who followed the rules and qualified for the Cashback.
If students are unsure whether they can commit to the rules outlined in the Language Sprint catalogue, we recommend considering a more flexible option, such as the Lingoda Flex course, which offers greater flexibility with class booking and cancellations.
We appreciate your suggestion regarding notifying students if they are about to break a rule, and we do strive to make our learning platform as user-friendly as possible. While we have forwarded your suggestion to the relevant department, please also keep in mind that this is a challenge — and participants are responsible for being attentive to their class bookings and the rules that govern the challenge. The 30-minute class cancellation window exists to give students the opportunity to review their bookings immediately after confirming them, allowing them to cancel a lesson if needed, even if it takes place less than 168 hours in advance, in case a mistake was made.

We understand your frustration and are sorry about it. However, the Sprint rules are also shared with all participants along with their inscription confirmation email as a link to the PDF file.
The same rules are always available, and our student support team typically responds to any concerns within the same day, if not immediately, on the website's chat.
Regarding your concern about the possibility of booking more classes than the ones required by the rules, I'm afraid that students who break a rule early in the Sprint continue using their lessons at their convenience therefore we have not blocked this option.
Additionally, we offer more than one way to keep track of your attended classes to be able to comply with this and the other rules.
The challenge is meant for students to gain healthy study habits, get the necessary discipline to regularly attend their classes, not miss them, and not attend all of them at once, while they get the ability to communicate in a new language.
I'm sorry that you don't see it as a proper answer to encourage our students to see all they achieve, it is what we strive for.
