Ein paar Vorbehalte hatte ich zu Anfangs durchaus. Es wirkt "Ultra Links", die Inneneinrichtung zeigt das who-is-who der Linken Welt: Von Marx bis Luxemburg starren alle einem das Bier aus der Hand. Das Publikum und das Personal ist aber durchweg sehr herzlich, nett und (für eine Eckkneipe) erstaunlich professionell. Hier werde ich wohl öfter mal versacken.
Die einzige Kneipe in Schöneberg, in der man jeden Tag bis 3 Uhr nachts trinken kann. Aber besonders sonntags kann die passiv-aggressive Einstellung das Bier unverdaulich machen
Very nice, if you are into the whole.old school dim/candle-lit rock&roll pub. Smoking is allowed though, so think.about it before going there, if you are a non-smoker. The music, at least when I visited, was mostly old rock. It was actually very refreshing, as there were less known Dire Straits tunes (not Sultans of Swing), as well as a lot of Ozzy, Zeppelin and Hendrix. Only thing I didn't like was the lack of space. Best Kneipe in Schöneberg. Nazis not welcome. Gets crowded, if you want to be seated don't be late.
A couple moves to Berlin where they know no one and nothing. Special kneipe welcomes them and allows for them to find a new place “where everyone knows your name”. Durch und durch eine sympathische Kneipe mit richtig gutem Bier und sehr viel Charme. Wie sollte es anders sein: am Wochenende immer brechend voll! :) aber in Schöneberg sucht man nicht lange nach würdigen Alternativen!
