Stayed in one of their apartment for around a year. Things were nice and went well till the time came when they had to return the deposit amount. Apart from the agreed 250 Eur for cleaning they charged me for bed, pillows etc. looking at the other reviews here, its very similar and has a pattern. My advice would be to have a legal insurance that also covers conflicts with landlord before renting from them, that too if you are out of other options…
I do not recommend this agency for services. I am a landlord that was hoping for transparent and fair rental services. Unfortunately, after almost 6 months of renting out my flat via hope, I have not earned 1 Euro due to the agency having pushed to upfront investing cost that were NoT necessary and that I had in part not agreed to. No stars for them I rented a 2 zimmer in Lichtenberg to live with my newborn and spouse. To start about their careless attitude 1. The night i landed in berlin the heating was not working in the apartment and it was (-7 degrees) outside. It took 5 days of effort from my end and convincing them that their system was broken. 2. Really nice staff, but unfortunately they rented me an apartment with a moldy mattress then charged me for a new one afterwards in the final cleaning. Made me feel really bad because we cared for everything in the apartment as it was our own.

Sehr Seriöse HV mit keinen überfüllten und sehr freundliche Besichtigungen. Wir haben mit Hope unser Traumwohnung gefunden. Nur zu Empfehlen !!!
I had a great experience with Hope apartments, They did everything in a timely manner. Apartment was good and clean and all the things were communicated properly in advance.
Warning ! We would not recommend renting an apartment from Hope because they would just deduct some money from your deposit without giving you a detailed information then ignore your emails. Updated: same as many other previous tenants experience,Hope Apartment’s way to handle customers feedback is simply ignore them,all they have to do is to provide a listed, documented invoice explaining the deduction of the deposit, but they just took it away…
We are SO happy with the team from Hope Apartments. They are friendly, helpful and think of everything to make the whole process stress free for us. Can highly recommend if you’re looking for accommodation in Berlin!

I lived for a bit more than a year in a flat managed by Hope Apartments and I could definitely recommend it. Everything went smooth from the moving in to the check out. They were very friendly and reactive to any problems I could experiment during my stay (broken stuff etc...) without any "bad surprise". The flat was great and communication with Hope team was easy. Overall extremely happy !

Hope Apartment hat fuer mich als Makler fuer eine Wohnungsvermietung fungiert, und das hat hervorragend geklappt. Sie haben rasch einen sehr guten Mieter fuer mich gefunden und waren bei der Abwicklung sehr effizient. Sie haben auf emails schnell reagiert und die Kommunikation war immer klar und unproblematisch. Ich kann Hope Apartments nur waermstens weiterempfehlen!
Ich bin den "HOPE Apartments" sehr dankbar. Sie haben immer schnell und freundlich reagiert, sowohl am Telefon als auch per E-Mail. Vor allem Ilaria Duggento war besonders freundlich und verständnisvoll zu mir und hat mir alle Zweifel erklärt, die ich hatte, da ich viele Details einer Vermietung in Deutschland nicht kenne. Ich würde die Zusammenarbeit mit ihnen ohne zu zögern empfehlen.
Bei diesem Anbieter muss man wirklich ganz viel Hoffnung haben! Bereits zur Wohnungsbesichtigung blieben unsere Nachfragen bzgl. der Hausnr. und dem Namen (Klingelschild) unbeantwortet. Dass es dennoch zu dieser Besichtigung kam war pures Glück (die Hoffnung stirbt halt zu letzt). Egal, die Wohnung war schön... aber zu teuer. Daher haben wir nach der Besichtigung innerhalb der vereinbarten Frist dankend abgelehnt, jedoch einen Preis vorgeschlagen…
