Disappointed. Our first stop in Munich this trip and this place has left a sour taste. Felt a bit tourist trap and very sketchy with cash only. Customer service, non existent. On previous visits to Munich staff at these stores are Germans that are proud to tell you about the various hides, quality and history. This place unfortunately could not seem to care less and we don’t feel confident anything we bought is authentic. Avoid.
The man was not very friendly or helpful. I asked him what he had in my size he told me they didn’t carry it. The next day I spoke to a friendly women who showed me numerous dresses in my size at that same store. I don’t believe it was a misunderstanding as I speak enough German to have asked. The prices for knick nacks are also insane, he wanted 15 Euro for a magnet I had seen numerous other places priced as 4 euros. Ended up paying 5 at the ai…
Great products at fair prices – centrally located at the main train station. If you're looking for quality dirndls and lederhosen, this is the place to go.
