Started at 02:00 AM from Lanžhot, driving smoothly, two 45-minute breaks knowing there was no need to rush. I arrived at the destination at 02:00 PM – the ramp was empty, the yard was completely empty. The lady in the office coldly turned me down and said: 'Tomorrow at 08:00 AM'. I thought to myself, okay, they probably have scheduled slots and I shouldn't mess up the timetable... However, I waited for that morning completely alone in the parking lot. Not a single truck showed up from yesterday until today, neither for loading nor unloading. She couldn't find a single gap to fit me into her 'jam-packed' schedule. Time slots are supposed to exist to make organization easier, so that everyone doesn't arrive at the exact same hour. It makes absolutely no sense to blindly stick to a schedule when there is no other truck waiting for their slot—but who is there to talk to... The icing on the cake was this: I went to the counter at 07:45 AM, only for her to reject me and send me away. She wouldn't even take the papers before 08:00 AM, just 'come back at 08:00 AM'... A shame, true professionalism without a shred of empathy. I wish you happy working and much success in your business. Back home we say: 'Just keep going like that – you'll go far.' 😂
