I landed up in hospital with barely any amniotic fluid and my baby at risk because she didn't believe me when I said for WEEKS that I was leaking. I just got dismissed and was told it's normal for pregnant women to leak pee in the third trimester and everything is fine. And on top of that I had a reoccurring infection that she didn't tell me about. Eventually when I had bad symptoms she said yes it's because you have an infection. "Here have some good bacteria pills." She didn't inform me of my own infection and didn't want me to take antibiotics. At the hospital they immediately gave me antibiotics which made me feel better the next day, hospital couldn't believe how little amniotic fluid I had and how much I was ignored. The last few visits before I went to the hospital I didn't see the Dr, even when I asked. The assistants would monitor my baby's heart and movement. Then get told all is normal go home. If the Dr did come in she would say the same and immediately leave. No room for questions or worries. In general the waiting times are long and I felt very rushed and dismissed at every appointment. She also doesn't ask permission to touch you. She just orders you to pull your pants down and lay down, and in go her fingers. No warning or asking or explaining. Before I had my baby she said good luck, you must book an appointment to schedule for birth control after. I mean excuse me!? Why is is it presumed I need birth control pills? And before my baby is even out that decision was made for me. And she didn't even consider my history of being on these pills and how they were bad for my health. I also had two separate occasions when I had to redo blood and iron tests because they "lost" my sample. Taking blood from me is not easy and I find that very unprofessional. Never going back and do not recommend.
