Trotz der begrenzten Sitzgelegenheiten im Inneren hat der Laden einen besonderen Charme. Die Einrichtung ist schlicht, aber gemütlich. Es mag eng sein, aber das sorgt dafür, dass man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Die Churros selbst - sie sind ein Traum! Knusprig von außen und herrlich weich und luftig von innen. In Berlin der beste Churro-Laden, auch wenn die Preise nach meinem Geschmack für die Portionsgröße leider einen Tick zu hoch sind.

Gerade laufe ich bei euch vorbei und sehe: Schließung wegen hoher Mietkosten, Ende November. Und das finde ich sehr traurig. So viele Pralinen und Tarte-Stücke, die ich bei euch gekauft und verschenkt habe, mit immer begeisterten Abnehmer*innen. Highest quality! Danke dafür über viele Jahre und alles Gute für euch - vielleicht an einem anderen Standort?

In over a decade in Berlin I was never treated so rudely. The establishment will only let you pay with a debit card above 10 euros. Once I've reached this amount I tried to pay with my phone which has a debit card attached to it; the employee kept pulling the device away telling me they only accept debits, I told her this card has a dual function set by the bank, and the she scolded me telling me that SHE wont enable the device to accept dual cards because then SHE will have to pay more money. Well, i told her smiling that maybe she needs a different device because she loses clients like this - as at this very second I don't have other means of payments - she angrily grabbed the bag (which i paid an extra 20 cents for as they packed their cakes in a manner which makes carrying it pretty impossible) out of my hand, grunted, and I turned around and left actually apologizing. I will never go back there. 5 years ago it somehow made sense to either let you pay with a debit card only and not even accept cash, but lady, it's 2022, and your approach towards customers doesn't sit well with the inconvenience you present. And the other employees I came across there over the last year or so weren't nicer. It's a pattern. If she had waited 3 more seconds before grabbing the bag I might have gotten cash out of the machine, but she left me so speechless I just left.

One of the best ice cream places in Berlin. And staff is always super super nice, smiling and friendly. Be sure to have some cash to leave a tip!

So overrated. 2,60€ for a (huge) scoop of ice, but the taste doesn’t match the price. I tried the strawberry ice, that tasted just like the frozen strawberries that you can buy in edeka. For this price I expect fresh fruits, and if you can’t find any fresh ones, well, don’t offer the ice and make it seasonal like the good ice cream dealers of Berlin. We also tried the crunchy peanuts, which had more sugar than peanuts.

My favorite of all the cafes I've been to in Berlin. Excellent coffee, and a top notch treat; I was fortunate enough to enjoy a pear crumble that was light and flavorful, with just the right amount of sweetness. Perfect. It's also very rare to meet a proprietor that is so clearly passionate, while also friendly and talented. An independent business run with real heart. Worth a visit if you're looking for coffee or a treat in Mitte.
