Das Essen ist super. Leider hat der Kellner uns nicht gesagt, dass die Küche demnächst zumacht (trotz Reservierung) und hat dann dementsprechend gehetzt. Bei der Vorspeise ist ein Stück Käse heruntergefallen. Das wurde nicht ersetzt und der Kellner hat sich nicht entschuldigt. Insgesamt sehr ausbaufähiger Service. Würde daher eher nicht nochmal essen gehen.

Worst Restaurant there is in Frankfurt My friend and i had dinner there a week ago. The menu ist really very short and they offer basically only 5 meals. Usually i see this as a good sign as i believe quality comes before quantity. This is why we decided to go to the restaurant. The first thing that i noticed on the menu is that there is a MINIMUM consumption “rule” listed there. So if you want to eat there you have to spend a certain amount of money. Very unusual and not very customer oriented i thought to myself but ok. They want 20€ for a vegetarian dish! Anyhow, we ordered some food. It was brought to our table rather quick. As soon as i saw it I was already disappointed. On my plate there were only exactly 3 potatoes, a half of carrot and a half of paprika with some green beans. And nothing else! The vegetables were badly cooked, without any seasoning. I barely touched the food. The owner came to ask me whether all is fine. I said the food did not taste. She looked at me and said only “I am sorry” and left. So obviously i wanted to leave asap. We asked for the bill. She came to us and while at our table she spilled some blueberries juice all over my clothes. She panicked and was all like “please bring your clothes to the dry cleaners. I will take over the bill”. So i paid for the meal i didn’t eat because it was badly prepared and we left. I brought my clothes to the dry cleaners and gor a receipt. I sent it to the woman in question. She said she won’t pay it. So all in all i ended spending 20€ for three poorly prepared potatoes, which i did not even finish and had to cover the costs for dry cleaning my clothes after the woman was clumsy enough to cover me in juice. To sum it up, if you want to have a delicious meal served to you by intelligent and friendly people, DO NOT go to Alma. I have been to the most restaurants in Frankfurt and i can tell you one thing: any other restaurant is better then that one. Food tastes better and you won’t have to pay this ridiculous amount of money for it. Unfortunately i cannot give less than one star but that place should not be called a restaurant. It is truly the worst place in Frankfurt to eat!
