👎🏼 As non-German minority ethnic (Chinese) resident who is not even living in Germany but directly targeted by Görg law firm mbB since 2019, I want to share my documented experience of latest legal actions from this firm. Görg operates as a partnership limited by shares “🇩🇪mbB”, which means all offices share joint responsibility for their actions and corporate culture. In early 2025, Görg— by representing a German public university—filed for a cross border preliminary injunction against me at the Hamburg Regional Court. Their application demanded penalties of up to €250,000 or six months imprisonment per alleged “infringement,” simply for the way I identified myself online. The court reviewed their request and dismissed it in full, stating that the asserted claim for “The injunctive relief did NOT exist.” This outcome demonstrates not only the lack of merit behind the legal action but also the malicious intent: attempting to silence and intimidate a vulnerable individual through excessive financial threats and even imprisonment, despite there being no legal basis. My experience shows a clear pattern: Görg, across its offices, pursues litigation strategies that can be seen as SLAPP actions (since 2024, it is illegal by EU law) —strategic lawsuits aimed at silencing critics—rather than grounded, sustainable legal arguments. For a firm that publicly promotes its service related to ESG and alleged support to diversity, this contradiction is deeply unacceptable. Potential clients, especially institutions with strong ESG , DEI or Human Rights commitments, should carefully weigh whether such practices align with their own values before engaging this German firm.
