Topklasse stadshotel met tuinen, rustige lounge, zwembad en sauna op het dak, voor de deur parkeren. Kamers zijn zeer schoon, met ruime douche en veel opbergruimte. Het hotel is een voormalige vrouwengevangenis en de cellen zijn onder architectuur uitgebreid en van alle comfort voorzien. Gasten zijn veelal internationaal, hip en affluent. Personeel is hulpbereid en rustig. In de buurt: pilates bij beyond, eten bij loxa, vintage kleding scharrelen…
I would say this is a newly perfect hotel with a surprisingly nice space, room, design and cleanliness. As I wouldn’t spoil your interest by talking too much but to tell it’s full of surprise like rooftop swimming pool, a hidden garden, nice living room, kitchen and gym etc. All have fine and design details with pleasant smell. Will visit again for sure!
We feel really lucky to have been able to stay here- immediately impressed by the amenities (sauna, rooftop pool, gym, interior design, kitchen provisions, quiet lounge area to work in, serene open space). Rooms were GORGEOUS and safe- an awesome jumping off point in Berlin. Definitely left inspired, creatively, and centred, energy wise. Sehr idyllisches Hotel, in dem man dem Berliner Alltagslärm im wahrsten Sinne des Worte entfliehen kann. Alles sehr stylisch clean, aber trotzdem gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Hotelmitarbeitenden sind allesamt äußerst freundlich und der Service ist wirklich auf einem sehr hohen Niveau. Auch das Hotelrestaurant Lovis ist ganz unabhängig vom Rest des Hotels eine Topadresse!
Second time here, absolute favourite. The calm and nature combined with the history makes for a unique and enjoyable stay. The restaurant Lovis is amazing aswell.

Ein echtes Juwel in Berlin ❗️ Ein Cosy Zimmer ist für 2 Personen überhaupt keine gute Option. Alle anderen Zimmer sind perfekt 😍 Die Einrichtung & die Architektur waren absolut 💯 Frühstück im Innenhof - ein Traum - Brot & Backwaren super lecker 😋 Wir kommen gerne wieder 😊
Stranded in Israel due to a war and national airspace closure - Wilmina refused even a credit for a future stay. I didn’t ask for a refund, just to rebook. I booked directly, paid more than I would have on a platform, out of respect for the hotel. Their response? Cold policy over basic humanity. Disappointing and out of touch with what hospitality should stand for.

Family run, and the hotel grounds are edenic — so green and beautiful. We enjoyed the lovely rooftop pool, with sauna spa open hours in the afternoon. The quality German breakfast in the mornings are delicious, authentic, and well curated with fresh breads and pastries from the hotel-owned bakery next door. We had a wonderful stay at the Wilmina. A stunning renovation of a historic prison building was truly the perfect Berlin setting. The staff were extremely attentive and the amenities felt like a resort.
We had an incredible time at Wilmina! The rooms were so cozy, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Breakfast was incredible - so many options and we ate out in the lovely courtyard. The location was great and we had a wonderful time walking around the neighborhood. We will definitely be staying there again next time we are in Berlin! Thank you to the amazing and kind staff!
